Vancouver Olympics

I have never seen cloud and fog look so pretty before! But really, this is a beautiful city. It is nothing like I imagined it would be when I moved here. I would not have guessed it to be this relaxed, this cultural, this artistic or this "outdoorsy".

I have yet to go down town and really experience the olympic action, other than seeing the torch go by on the day of the openning ceremonies. But I will, and I will take photos! But even at work the buzz and Canadian pride of everyone coming and going can be felt. It's pretty cool...

That's such an amazing video! You should totally go down town. I don't usually like crowds and this is by far the largest crowd you will ever see (people for like 10 blocks all around robson), I really liked this one. No one is in a hurry, everyone is super happy, lots of yummy smells from all the different food vendors and Vancouver accomodated for all the people so when you are walking down a street, the whole street is probably blocked off for just walkers. We didn't even do anything we just walked around for 3 hours and it felt like you were part of the olympics. Another thing you should check out it beside science world, along the beach, there is HUNDREDS of inukshuks' that people have built. Its AWESOME that's all I have to say!!
